Right to Appraisal Service
When faced with an insurance company’s valuation of your vehicle, you have the right to seek a second opinion. CTI is here to provide that impartial, professional perspective.
When your insurance company's valuation falls short of what's needed to restore your vehicle, you have the Right to Appraisal.
As the policyholder, you have the Right to Appraisal. This means that if you disagree with your insurer's assessment of your vehicle's value, you can request an independent appraisal. We're here to ensure that your voice is heard and that you receive a fair evaluation.
Our Approach
- You’ll call us to discuss your situation and the insurance company’s initial estimate.
- We’ll explain the appraisal process and what it entails.
- We’ll request the body shop’s estimate and any photos or documentation from the insurance company.
- Claim Validation: We review the provided information to confirm the claim’s legitimacy.
- Intake Form: We’ll email you our intake form to fill out and return to us.
- Once we receive your form, we’ll bill you for our Right to Appraisal service.
- We’ll wait for the insurance company to appoint an adverse appraiser.
- Negotiations begin with the exchange of estimates and supporting documents.
- If an agreement is reached, we’ll sign an award letter with the adverse appraiser.
- In case of a stalemate, the claim escalates to an umpire for a final, binding decision.
- The umpire’s fee is split equally between you and the insurance company.
- The award letter, once signed, signifies the total repair cost and concludes the claim process.
